Our Family

Lylah is going down the kids waterslide at the community center all by herself. 

Lylah was able to feel Nico kicking tonight.  Just about every time she put her hand on my tummy he would kick her and she would giggle.  Of course then she got excited and started poking my belly button in order to make him move

On Monday night Sammi was very upset on the way to the library when she told us she didn't have her library card.  We said she wouldn't be able to check out any books.  She and Lylah were in the backseat of the car and Sammi was crying.  Lylah looks over and says ' talk to God to feel better'.  Sammi said no.  Lylah said 'it's easy just fold your hands like this and talk'.  It was so cute and very nice to see some lessons are sinking in.  Of course when when we asked Lylah if that helps when she's said she said no. 

We agreed on a name today.  Glen Nicholas Martin.  Glen is Mike's father's name and Mike's middle name.  Nicholas in honor of my maiden name Nicholson.  We will be calling him "Nico" for short.

Boy.  Lylah has said from the beginning it was a boy and she's right.  He was very cooperative so that we got a good look during the ultrasound.  Name is still being finalized.
